Kootenai Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity would like to thank The Western News for your coverage of the fundraiser we just had at Rosauers. Folks came to the store knowing what was going on.

And, as usual, the people of Libby were exceedingly generous! With donations from $1 to $100, we raised $2420 in 2 days to benefit Habitat for Humanity.

We also had good conversations with shoppers — answering questions, taking suggestions, recruiting volunteers and encouraging some to apply to be a partner family. We also came to appreciate the work that it is to bag groceries hour after hour!!

In this season of thanks and gratitude, we are humbled to be one piece of the puzzle of non-profits that are supported by a loving community!
