New clothing store opens in Resort Plaza Shops
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 7 years, 1 month AGO
With clothing items and stickers specialized for North Idaho, CDA IDAHO Clothing Co. celebrated its grand opening Friday in Suite 2 of The Resort Plaza Shops at Sherman and Second Street.
The store opened last week in the location of the former Electric Gentlemen store. Clothing for everyone with an “Idaho” emphasis includes hats, hoodies, T-shirts, long sleeves, beanies, tanks and special buttons and cards.
Owners Andy and Nichelle started the special line two years ago with items at the Junk store on Fourth Street.
“We wanted a company that captured the coolness of where we live,” Andy said. “But we soon branched out to Idaho designs as well. We try to use local printers and local craftsmen to promote a local mindset.”
The new downtown store is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and “sometimes” Sundays. Check www.CDAIDAHO.com.

This includes all types of frames, lenses, contacts, coatings, polishing and tinting through the onsite laboratory.
Optometrists are Larry Breazeal and Jeannie Tran, and general manager is Hailey Robb. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Phone 208-772-5539. Check www.eyeguysoptical.com.
North Idaho Dermatology starts new building
A three-story building of 27,432 square feet is under construction for North Idaho Dermatology at 2199 N. Merritt Creek Loop in Riverstone.
The eventual lateral move from across the street from the current location at 2288 N. Merritt Creek Loop will grant more and larger exam and surgical rooms to allow more comfort to the patients and family. It also expands the esthetician spa services and offers a full of cosmetic lasers.
“We want better patient care and for patients to be seen as soon as possible,” said Grant Ely, chief operating officer. “Dermatology is cosidered a specialty, and so people often wait months to see a specialist. We’ve worked hard to hire medical providers to allow patients to be seen soon after they call for an appointment.

Adding 20,000 more feet of storage space, Landmark Storage is expanding from its current address of 3119 N. Second St. to Government Way.
The new units will be completed next summer. Chad Oakland of Northwest Realty Group is the owner, and Ashley Sanders is manager. Check www.landmarkcda.com.
