Libby VFW announces Patriot Pen essay contest winners

Libby VFW Post No. 1548 has announced the winners of its Patriot Pen essay contest.

James M. Warner won first place, Milatine R. O’Rowike placed second and John P.H. O’Connell third.

Warner’s first-place entry was sent to statewide judging, according to a news release that also states all three winners will receive their local awards at a later date.

The VFW received six entries for the Patriot Pen essay contest, and none for the Voice of Democracy essay contest.
