Ralph Leroy Duperault, 95

Ralph Leroy Duperault, 95, was born Oct. 6, 1922. He went to Heaven Nov. 21, 2017. He was born in Montebello, Calif., and was the middle of six children. In 1944, he married the love of his life, Mary Jane Brady, his high school sweetheart. She passed away in 2005.

He joined the Merchant Marines to serve his country. After the war he was a police officer for eight years, then moved his family to Wrightwood, Calif., where he worked in construction. In 1972 he moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and got his construction license. At 62 he retired and enjoyed his hobby as a rock hound.

After a stroke in 2014, he spent his last years at Life Care Center in Post Falls, Idaho, where he had a loving, caring staff who became his friends.

He was a kind, gentle man; a devoted husband and father. We will miss him so.

Ralph is survived by his brother, Don Duperault; his daughter, Christine Dupree; grandchildren, Robert Stockman, Darin Horn, Arlene Horn, Aaron Horn and Ronald Horn; great-grandchildren, Valerie, Christian, Shawn, Jordon, Michael, Nochole, and Kimberly; great-great-grandchildren, Colby, Damian, and Charlie Blu; his nephews, Dennis and David Duperault and their families.

English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with his cremation. A reception will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho. Please visit Ralph’s online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
