OSBURN - The Dave Smith Memorial & KWAL Radio Thon is ready to take all of your challenges and pledges.

This happens on December 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All of the proceeds provide food vouchers for Santa Workshop, Wallace Elks #331, and Tree of Sharing in Pinehurst.

All labor is donated by the Elected Officials at Shoshone County and Cities with many volunteers to help out man the phones as you the residents call in with your donations helping your neighbor.

“Our challenge is to raise money to feed our less fortunate neighbors and make a Christmas for the boys and girls in our Silver Valley Area. Only in the Silver Valley can we say yes to this challenge,” Shoshone County clerk Peggy White said. “In the past we’ve raised enough money to help provide dinners at the local churches and Meals on Wheels program. We are asking again this year for your ears to listen and your heart to make a difference in our area. “

Any pledge can be given or called in to the KWAL radio at (208)752-1141 on Friday, December 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We appreciate your help in these are hard times.

We are planning many fun things so listen in and join the fun.
