Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 7 years, 2 months AGO
The music-making faction of Cancer and Community Charities, those fun-loving, philanthropic women better known as the 3Cs, will be making the season merry with song this weekend.
The Coeur d’Aleers, 3Cs members dedicated to singing and giving, will present their 25th annual Winter Concert Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Master, 4800 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d’Alene.
Concert-goers will hear a variety of tunes including traditional Christmas songs and a few comedic ones, like “The Monotone Angel,” and “Christmas Shopping Blues.”
The Coeur d’Aleers’ singing will be accompanied by professional musicians and directed by Rose Dempsey. A sing-along of Christmas carols will take place during the show.
“Leave with joy in your heart and candy in your hands,” said the group’s announcement of the concert.
The concert is free, but a basket will be passed for free-will donations that will be donated to Kootenai County nonprofits.
