MOSES LAKE — A woman reportedly escaped an early Wednesday morning rollover collision in Moses Lake without any injuries.

About 5:40 a.m. Moses Lake police officers responded to a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 17, near the Stratford Road overpass. The female driver of the vehicle was reportedly heading south on SR-17 at an unsafe speed.

As a result, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to spin and roll over onto its side. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the crash.

“During this time of year, road conditions can change quickly, and drivers need to be alert, using common sense and caution when driving. Washington State law requires drivers to reduce their speed for the current road conditions, regardless of what the posted maximum speed is,” stated the MLPD in a release.
