NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in the 3rd Floor BOCC Meeting Room, Suite 338 of the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests: File AM157-17 - Text Amendment - Title 12 Section 12-263 - Reconsideration - Bonner County is initiating an amendment to Title 12 (Land Use Regulations) to add Section 263 - Reconsideration. This addition is consistent with Idaho Code §67-6535(2)(b) requiring that prior to filing for judicial review on a land use file, one must first request a reconsideration with the Board of County Commissioners. The Planning & Zoning Commission, at their regularly scheduled hearing on September 14, 2017, recommended approval of this file to the Board of County Commissioners. File AM158-17 - Text Amendment - Title 12 Section 12-649 - Digital Submission of Final Plan - Bonner County is initiating an amendment to Title 12 (Land Use Regulations) to add Section 649 - Digital Submission of Final Plat. This addition is requiring applicants filing for a land division that results in a final plat also submit that final plat in digital form for ease in maintaining the County-wide parcel base map. The Planning & Zoning Commission, at their regularly scheduled hearing on September 14, 2017, recommended approval of this file to the Board of County Commissioners. File AM154-17- Code Amendment to Text, Title 12, Chapter 4, Section 12-484, Vacation Rentals - Bonner County is initiating an amendment to Title 12 (Land Use Regulations), Section 12-484 Vacation Rentals. This amendment establishes an annual permit process reviewing vacation rental homes for public health, safety, and general welfare per Idaho Code 67-6539. This code replaces the current BCRC 12-484 Vacation Rentals. The ordinance is available online: http://bonnercounty.us/file-am154-17/ or by stopping by the planning department. The Planning & Zoning Commission, at their regularly scheduled hearing on September 21, 2017, recommended approval of this file to the Board of County Commissioners.
