Libby picked up another Northwest A volleyball victory Thursday evening, stopping Polson 25-18, 25-21, 25-22 and remaining undefeated.

“Polson refused to go down without a fight,” Libby coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston said via email. “But the Loggers prevailed as the homecoming spoilers.”

Jayden Winslow was a force at the net with 11 of Libby’s 39 kills and 13 of the team’s 44 digs. She also tied Alli Collins for the team high in aces, three each.

“as you can see by the stats, Jayden had a great night all around,” Ostrem-Johnston wrote.

Collins led in assists with 30 and Emma Gruber had the most digs for Libby with 14.

Mehki Sykes and Emily Mossburg had 10 and 9 kills, respectively. Sykes “continues to dominate at the net,” Ostrem-Johnston wrote, while Mossburg “took advantage of the holes in the ship to tip to.”

Libby is now 7-0 in conference play and 11-0 overall.

Libby: Kills 39 (Jayden Winslow 11). Blocks 3. Digs 44 (Emma Gruber 14, Winslow 13). Assists 30 (Alli Collins 30). Aces 10 (Collins 3, Winslow 3).

Polson: Kills 26 (Kaelyn Smith 12, Paige Noyes 7). Blocks 4. Digs 40 (Kyler Lundeen 15). Assists 21 (Laurel Bitterman 13). Aces 5 (Kaylee Evertz 3).
