Wolf season to close in area where quota was met

The hunting or trapping of all wolves in Montana Wolf Management 316, which include portions of Carbon, Sweet Grass and Park Counties, will close Wed. Oct. 4, 2017 at one half-hour after sunset.

The order halting the hunt came after Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota in WMU 316 had been met.
