Are you a Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness volunteers?

If you have, any time in recent years, spent a day (or five) building or maintaining trails for FSPW, been a goat ambassador, worked at an outreach table, planted Whitebark Pine, led a hike, worked with the Winter Tracks program, stuffed and/or addressed envelopes or anything else, then you’re a volunteer and you’re invited to their annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic on Sunday, October 8.

The picnic will be held at the Compton Pavilion, 124 Montana Highway 200, Heron, Mont. The picnic starts at 3 p.m. Pacific, 4 p.m. Mountain time.

Beer, burgers and beans are on us. Bring a dish to share.

To let FSPW know you’re coming, register at bit.ly/2xoE8TM.
