POST FALLS — The Fall Job Fair organized by the Idaho Department of Labor will have more than 50 employers ready to fill nearly 1,500 positions.

The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Real Life Ministries, 1866 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls.

Employers continue to add jobs as the economy remains strong, according to a Labor press release. Businesses registered for the event report almost twice as many openings as last year.

While health care, manufacturing and service industries continue to see the highest demand, there are a range of jobs in all job sectors and at all skill levels. Openings vary from entry level to senior management and full-time to seasonal.

Employers from North Idaho and the Spokane area are expected to attend the event. For a list of employers scheduled, see the Labor calendar at labor.idaho.gov.

Job applicants are encouraged to bring a resume, dress to meet potential employers and be prepared to speak directly with company recruiters and human resources personnel.

Customers with disabilities who need a reasonable accommodation to participate should contact Stacey Hanlon at 208-457-8789 ext. 3947. To access the Idaho Relay Service for the deaf and hard of hearing, dial 711.
