Medical center to host rural healthcare network meeting on Monday, Oct. 16

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center announced it will host the 2017 Montana Rural Healthcare Performance Improvement Network’s regional meeting on Monday, Oct. 16.
The network’s mission “is to develop and provide a collaborative support system which will enable small rural hospitals to have the ability to deliver quality care and achieve customer satisfaction,” a news release states.
The Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program supports the network activities by providing “funding to spur quality and performance improvement activities, stabilize rural hospital finance and integrate emergency medical services into existing health care systems.”
