The Libby Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its monthly “Business and Banter” for Thursday, Oct. 19.

The networking event will take place 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the recently remodeled Evergreen Motel at 808 Mineral Ave.

In addition to socializing with appetizers, beer, wine, soft drinks and live music, attendees can participate in a 50/50 raffle at the entrance and a raffle for a two-night weekend stay at the Evergreen.

The Chamber encourages attendees to bring an item to donate to Kootenai Pets for Life, which would benefit from cat or dog food, blankets, toys and more.
