MOSES LAKE — A woman was reportedly grazed by a bullet in a Sunday night shooting in Moses Lake.

About 11 p.m. MACC Dispatch received multiple calls for gunshots being fired out of a white SUV, possibly a Mercedes or a Lexus, as it was reportedly chasing another vehicle in the Larson Housing area. MACC Dispatch then reportedly received a call from a woman in the 9000 block of Forrestal Lane who said she had been shot, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim told deputies she was driving the car that was being chased. The woman reportedly suffered a “grazing injury to her scalp” and was treated by medics at the scene and released. There are reports the shooting possibly started in Moses Lake city limits, which deputies and the Moses Lake Police Department are investigating.

If you have any information on the shooting contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at 509-762-1160 or email crimetips@grantcountywa.gov. Tips can be given anonymously.
