MOSES LAKE — Don’t have plans for breakfast Saturday morning? Then you are in luck and bound to start the day off right if you venture over to Moses Lake Fire Station No. 1 and grab some breakfast during the annual Moses Lake Firefighters Breakfast.
The breakfast, which sees Moses Lake firefighters team up with the Moses Lake Lions Club, will take place from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Moses Lake Fire Station No. 1, 701 E. Third St. Tickets for the breakfast are $9 for people ages 12 and above, $6 for children ages 3-11 and $25 for a family of five. Children 3 and under are free.
The event has been a local favorite for families and individuals alike for several years, with funds raised going toward the Moses Lake Firefighters Local 1258 Benevolent Fund, which funds several of the organization’s endeavors in the community, including Operation Warm, a winter coat program for local children. Funds also go to the Lions Club’s emphasis on projects that help people who have sight and hearing problems.
