“Pass it Along”, a gala evening celebrating music and music makers of all generations, will be held Friday Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784 Cody St., in Bonners Ferry. A silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m. with live music by the Creston BC Community Band.

The concert itself begins at 7 p.m. It features India Kucherry and the BOUNDLESS women’s ensemble. Special guests include the “Key of She” vocal ensemble from Creston, BC, members of the SPIRITSONG and Bonners Ferry Community Choirs, Lauren Skye Palmer on vocals and piano, Irina Riverman as dancer, Jim Thompson and Shirley Cameron on instrumentals, Alexandra Ewashen on percussion.

Scholarship funds will be raised for the SPIRITSONG international touring choir. These funds support hard working, talented young singers who might otherwise not be able to travel with the choir. SPIRITSONG which draws singers from Creston BC and Bonners Ferry, has traveled to China, Ireland, Tanzania, Costa Rica, and Greece. Next summer they will be doing concerts in Iceland and locally, raising funds for education for women world-wide. India Kucherry is the nominee for this year’s scholarship. Conductor is Vicki Blake Thompson.
