WENATCHEE — Moses Lake slowpitch nailed down the No. 2 seed for the league’s final tournament after sweeping first-place Wenatchee.

Michelle Turner scored four runs and Moses Lake won the opener 16-5. At one point, the Chiefs led 12-0.

Brooke Richardson hit a go-ahead three-run home run in Game 2 and Moses Lake won 5-3.

Turner totaled five hits in the doubleheader. To go along with her home run, Richardson was 4-for-4 with three RBI in Game 1.

YAKIMA — Moses Lake rallied from one-goal deficits twice to beat West Valley 3-2.

Morgan Skone had a hat trick for the Chiefs.

QUINCY — Quincy and Chelan played to a 0-0 stalemate.

Quincy’s defense was the bright spot led by Graciela Ramirez, Alexis Mondragon and Bekah Castro.

BRIDGEPORT — Tracie Delgado notched 19 assists and 18 digs and Soap Lake swept Bridgeport 25-11, 25-19, 25-19.

Taylor Harvill posted an all-around game of seven kills, one block, four aces and 19 digs.

QUINCY — Ephrata did well serving in a sweep of Quincy 25-23, 25-18, 25-12.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 3, Reardan 1

RITZVILLE — Lind-Ritzville/Sprague rallied from a marathon third set to beat Reardan in four 25-22, 25-20, 30-32, 25-22.

Lacey Miller had 43 assists and Rachel Schell had 11 kills. Ellie Gering and Tessa O’Brien added 14 digs each.

Wenatchee 122, Moses Lake 61

MOSES LAKE — Anna Fair won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, but Wenatchee’s numbers overwhelmed Moses Lake in a 122-61 loss.

Fair won a hard-fought race in the 100 butterfly, edging Wenatchee’s Jordan Hartley by less than half a second 1:01.55-1:01.92.

Cora Dana won the 100 freestyle in 59.18 seconds.

Ephrata boys, girls win home meet

SOAP LAKE — Kolby Tune won the boys’ race and Karen Billingsley won the girls’ in a banner day for Ephrata.

Tune was the only runner to crack 17 minutes, finishing first in 17:28.61. Billingsley beat East Valley’s Natalie Andreas by more than 30 seconds to finish first in 20 minutes, 9.5 seconds.
