THANK YOU: From 24/7 ministry
The Anthem Church staff of the 24/7 ministry would like to extend a much appreciative “Thank You” to businesses and individuals who support our fundraising golf tournaments. On Aug. 19 we held our 4th annual tournament at Prairie Falls Golf Club.
Corporate sponsors for this year and year’s past have been: Thorco Electric. Champion Concrete Pumping, Western Tree Service, Williams Paint, Snap Fitness, Solid Rock Automation, Randy Weiss, bankcda, Joel Pearl Reality, The Rooter Guys, Northwest Swisse Machine, McArthy Corporation, North Idaho Golf, Paragon Brewery, Young’s Quality Cleaning, Nick Pepperworth, North Idaho Physical Therapy, Dougherty & Associates CPA’s and Mark’s Marine.
The following restaurants and establishments provided gift certificates as prizes: The Porch, Tomato Street, Texas Road House, Sargents Restaurant, Caddy Shack, Prairie Falls Golf Club, Twin Lakes GC, Avondale GC, The Links GC, Circling Raven GC, Stoneridge GC and Coeur d’Alene GC. And, thanks to all of the golfers who registered and played in the tournaments, and to all of the individuals who gave personal donations.
24/7 is a drug and alcohol recovery program that ministers to men and women coming out of incarceration. We provide treatment along with housing for 16 months. Our clients are taken through classes that teach them how to live a life free of drugs and alcohol, and how a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way to a successful life. Proceeds from the golf tournament help support the ministry.

TURKEYS: Providing food for families
The Turkeys & More Committee is very thankful for the wonderful donations and support to provide turkeys and “trimmings” food to 1,600 families served by the Community Action Partnership (CAP) Food Bank in Kootenai County. We would like to especially thank Bob Drummond, Jack and Camie Beebe, and Doug Parker for providing funds for half of the turkeys needed for Thanksgiving. With their financial assistance and the other donations, we have almost reached our goal of raising $32,000 to buy all of the Thanksgiving food.
Thanks also to Platinum level donors and sponsors of almost $1,000 and over: The Coeur d’Alene Garden Club, The Coeur d’Alene Tribe, Schuon Manufacturing, Idaho Central Credit Union and Coeur d’Alene Kiwanis.
$500 Gold Club members thanked are: Academy Mortgage, Horizon Credit Union, Kootenai Title, Northwest Specialty Hospital, P1FCU (Potlatch Credit Union), Sunrise Rotary, White Pine Wealth Management and Windermere Realty.
