SPOKANE — If you’ve got “Friends in Low Places,” as the classic Garth Brooks song goes, then you might want to use those connections to get tickets to the country mega star’s upcoming show in Spokane.

Brooks’ Nov. 11 show at the Spokane Arena will be his first in the city in 19 years and the last stop on the Washington, Idaho and Montana leg of The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood. Tickets for the anticipated show went on sale Oct. 6 and if ticket sales for other Brooks’ shows are any indication, they will go fast.

There was an eight ticket cap per person, with the tickets sold as best available on Oct. 6. If you missed the ticket sale date there is still an outside chance you could snag a ticket or two by visiting www.spokanearena.com/garth.php or calling 1-844-442-7842. Tickets will not be sold at the Spokane Arena box office or at any TicketWest location.

Brooks is the best selling solo artist in U.S. history, who has sold over 149 million albums to date.

His wife, Trisha Yearwood, has proven herself to be just as big a draw as her husband. She’s received multiple Grammy, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards, according to her website. Her first single, “She’s in Love with the Boy,” made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart in 1991.

The Garth Brooks World Tour kicked off in Chicago, Ill. on Sept. 4, 2014 and has made its rounds selling over 5.5 million tickets over the last three years. The local leg of the tour has already seen ticket sales records smashed as fans have been clamoring to see one of the highest rated live music shows in the world.

Brooks recently broke his Seattle-Tacoma ticket sales record, which was set July 15-20, 1998 and saw over 85,490 tickets sold. Since Sept. 29, when tickets for his Nov. 3, 4 and 5 shows at the Tacoma Dome went on sale, over 86,000 tickets have been sold, with tickets still selling. Brooks, the 2016 Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year award winner and 2017 nominee, released “Gunslinger,” his 10th studio album, November 2016.
