A bunch of Libby losers turned out to be winners.

A local chapter of weight-loss group TOPS — Take Off Pounds Sensibly — Club recently announced that its members lost the most weight among 13 northwest Montana chapters from September 2016 to September 2017.

The members of chapter 0505 lost an average of 8.4 pounds each for a total of 67 pounds, according to a news release. The achievement earned the group a trophy Sept. 30 at a regional rally and workshop.
