Jeremy Scott Foy, 36
Jeremy Scott Foy, 36, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 in Rathdrum, Idaho. Jeremy was born on Oct. 18, 1980 in Moab, Utah, to Edward and Katie Foy. He grew up and attended the schools in Sandpoint, Idaho, where he gained a love of the outdoors and participated in scouting events. Jeremy married Anna Shoemaker on Dec. 21, 2005 in Coeur d’Alene, and they later divorced. He worked in Kootenai and Bonner counties as a framer, roofer, waterproofer and apprenticed in the heating business.
Jeremy married Meaghan Rachunok on Oct. 21, 2016 in Sandpoint. They enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, drinking wine, camping, fishing and listening to music. Jeremy also was artistic and enjoyed drawing, building model cars and hearing the trains.
He is survived by his wife, Meaghan Foy, of Hayden; seven children, Aspen, Gaven, Daniel and Caleb Foy; and Jayden, Celes and Sophia Zimmerman; his father, Edward Foy of Sandpoint; mother, Katie Foy of Airway Heights; brother, Jason (Becca) Foy of Sandpoint; two sisters, Brooke Sharp, of Sandpoint and Tiffany Foy of Coeur d’Alene; and his in-laws, Dennis and Jackie Rachunok of Hayden.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint with The Rev. J.P. Carver officiating. Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements. Please visit Jeremy’s online memorial at www.lakeviewfuneral.com.
