Girl Scouts fundraiser today

COEUR d’ALENE — Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho will host a fundraiser today in Coeur d’Alene.

The second Coeur d’Alene Craft Beer & Cookie Fest takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at UVA Italian, 309 E. Lakeside Ave.

Tickets for this 21-and-older event are $20 if reserved in advance and $25 at the door. The price includes a tasting glass, five 5-ounce pours and hors d’oeuvres.

The event will feature four local breweries and one cidery. The businesses will pair their craft drinks with iconic Girl Scout cookies. Guests will vote on their favorite pairings.

All proceeds from the Coeur d’Alene Craft Beer & Cookie Fest will go toward scholarships, camperships and leadership programs for girls in the community.
