Karrow Avenue closes for watermain work

The city of Whitefish has issued a notice that Karrow Avenue will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, Oct. 23 through Thursday, Oct. 26.
Noble Excavating Inc. is performing watermain work at the intersections of Karrow Avenue and Third Street, and Karrow and Fourth Street. The closure begins at 7 a.m. on Oct. 23 and continues through 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.
Local residents will have access to the area.
The road closures will begin at the intersection of Karrow Avenue and Highway 93 on the north end and at the intersection of Karrow Avenue and Fourth Street on the south end of the work area.
A detour will be set up at the intersection of Karrow Avenue and Seventh Street directing traffic to Baker Avenue.
