Coeur d’Alene Bancorp announces bankcda’s quarterly results

For the third quarter of 2017, Coeur d’Alene Bancorp reported net earnings of $384,937 or $0.28 per share for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2017, compared to $172,818 or $0.13 per share for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2016.

Earnings for the third quarter 2017 totaled $157,028 or $0.12 per share compared to $68,013 or $0.05 for the same quarter last year, which represents a 131 percent increase.

Tangible book value per share increased to $7.96 compared to $7.58 from one year ago.

Total assets ended the quarter at $111.2 million compared to $106.1 million from one year ago, which represents a 4.81 percent increase.

Gross loans were $72.5 million as compared to $71 million from the prior year, which represents 2.11 percent growth.

Total deposits ended the quarter at $99.6 million compared to $93.1 million from one year ago, a 7 percent increase.

All capital ratios continue to exceed regulatory minimums.

“We are pleased with our consistent growth on both sides our balance sheet which has contributed to improved earnings,” said Wes Veach, president and CEO. “We continue to strive to serve our local communities by delivering financial products to help business and consumers meet their financial goals.”

Veach noted the bank maintains a five-star rating from Bauer Financial, an independent rating agency.

Tom Moore, forester, and Kathy Edlund, land use specialist, have opened Northwest Land and Lifestyle Properties, a United Country Real Estate Franchise, in Hayden.

Moore has more than 14 years of experience working for private industrial timber companies and as a forestry consultant along with five years of buying and selling timberland for a private timber company.

Edlund brings more than 10 years of real estate and private timber company experience. She has closed land sales ranging from an acre to several thousand acres and is expert in land valuation, conservation easements, property development and negotiation. The office is teamed with a forest management company and provides full services for land investors and forestland owners.

Avondale Dental Group

announces expansion

Avondale Dental Group in Hayden announced a new partnership with two other local dental practices.

Dr. Rachel Fehling, with Element Dental in Coeur d’Alene, and the office of Dr. Whitney Frank in Post Falls have joined Avondale Dental.

“The expansion will give our patients added convenience and accessibility and allow us to provide a new and broader set of services,” said a news release from Avondale.

The integration of the practices is underway and no interruptions are expected for patients.
