The 6th Annual TaTa’s Party is this Saturday at The Wallace Inn.

The event is a fundraiser for the Shoshone County Cancer Support Group and has been consistently growing over the years.

The TaTa’s Party is a celebration of cancer fighters and survivors and has found some conventional and unconventional ways to raise money. “The live auction consists of bras, wreaths, and pumpkins that have been decorated and donated by people in our wonderful community,” event organizer Aubrey Stovern said. “The silent auction has items that has been donated by our friends, family or businesses.”

Besides the auction, the event has other fun ways to raise money as well. “We have a really fun wine wall,” Stovern said. “Basically it is bottles of wine that have been donated to us that we put into a bag to disguise what it is. Each bottle is $10.00 and a mystery. This year we added beer grab which follows the same idea.”

Other fundraisers include a cupcake bar, a 50/50 raffle, and several other trinkets like special water bottles, cancer ribbons, bracelets and buttons will be sold. “The night is a lot of fun and it's filled with love towards those in our community that are fighting cancer,” Stovern said. “100 percent of our proceeds go to Shoshone County Support Corp in Kellogg.

The social hour starts at 5 p.m. and the live auction starts at 6 p.m.
