LIght up the Night, a free carnival for kids, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Sandpoint Church of the Nazarene, north of Walmart of Highway 95 in Ponderay. The carnival will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

A free dinner will be held and there will be drawings for awesome prizes all night long. There will be a Kids’ Zone with age appropriate games for youngsters 0-5 years old, a balloon room, a cake walk, a balloon artists, free cotton candy (provided by the Kiwanis Club), a bouncy house (weather permitting), a game rooms to test your skills. In addition, there will be special appearances by Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers so come get an autograph and photograph.

The event offers a safe and warm trick-or-treating environment for kids of all ages.

A canned food drive will also take place to help those in need. Those attending are asked to bring a can of food for the food bank.
