An exclusive filmed interview with musician and author Daryl Davis will be screened at Lifetree Café on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2 p.m.

“I wanted to question those people who wanted to hurt me, or hang me,” Davis says. “I needed to get direct answers about why they could hate me when they didn’t even know me.”

During the program — titled “The Black and White Truth About Racism: Will We Ever Live in a Colorblind World?” — Lifetree Café participants will have the opportunity to discuss their own experiences with prejudice or racism.

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café is located at Tango Café in the Columbia Bank Building, 414 Church St., Sandpoint.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to Stan at 208-304-6465, stan@followcommunity.org.
