ANTHEM: Obfuscation alert

If someone has a valid reason for protesting, what is more important: How they protest or what the reason is?
If the method of protest is a blatant insult to someone, is that a reason to not acknowledge why there was a protest?
The controversy regarding NFL players and the National Anthem is extremely more complicated than the issues posed above so it is easy for those who want to obfuscate to do so. The real question is, why do they obfuscate? It is not complicated to see that the reason is they do not want to deal with the issue in question. If someone does not want to at least determine if there really is an issue, they probably don’t care that a large segment of our society is possibly being mistreated, or even being killed, without justification.
What was that other issue? Oh, yeah; kneeling during the National Anthem.
