Wendellyn Hall of Girl Scout Troop 3032 in Coeur d’Alene recently earned the Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest award for a Girl Scout Cadette.
To earn the Silver Award a Girl Scout must work on the project for a minimum of 50 hours. Wendellyn’s project was called “Project Warm Pets” and benefitted the Kootenai Humane Society.
With the help of family, friends, fellow Girl Scouts, community members and local businesses, Wendellyn made and donated 66 fleece blankets for the dogs and cats at the Kootenai Humane Society. Wendellyn is an eighth-grader at River City Middle School in Post Falls.
