7B Women, Inc. brings humor to the holidays

Let’s face it. The fact is that the holiday season can add some unwanted stress to our lives. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way, and 7B Women is offering a perfect opportunity to kick off the holiday season with some laughs.
On Tuesday, Nov. 7, 7B Women will host its monthly luncheon with featured speaker comedian Meghan Flaherty.
Flaherty shares that she has been doing comedy since she was born, but has been performing professionally for the past several years. Performing in dramatic theater, improv and stand-up comedy all across the Northwest, she brings you an energetic, story-telling, just-a-little-too-honest hybrid of twisted reality and everyday life. Her quick witted and sharp humor will make you glad you decided to skip lunch with the boss and attend this month’s luncheon.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming Meghan to our luncheon and having her lighten the mood as we head into a busy holiday season,” said 7B Women President Kim Diercks.
Meghan will be traveling to Sandpoint from Tacoma and the 7B Women committee is grateful to Brent and Tawnie Sleep of Sleeps Cabins for sponsoring her stay.
“When it comes to supporting 7B Women, Brent and Tawnie have always been extremely generous,” said Patty Hutchens, Vice President of 7B Women. “It is people like them that make this community so special and allow us to put on this great luncheon.”
The luncheon will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tango Café and is open to everyone in the community, men and women. The cost is $21 or $16 if you are a member of 7B Women, Inc. Individual memberships cost $35 per year and can be paid online at the group’s website, 7BWomen.com.
Please note that due to the high participation in the past and so Tango Café can adequately prepare for the luncheon, pre-registration is highly encouraged.

For the fourth year in a row, 7B Women is hosting a day-long conference with speakers that will leave you energized and inspired. Co-sponsored by Ting on March 19, this year’s conference will be held at the Sandpoint Technology Center and will include breakfast, lunch and a happy hour.
7B Women announces annual conference
Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life. That is the theme of the Fourth Annual 7B Women’s conference hosted by 7B Women, Inc. and co-sponsored by Ting, which is scheduled for March 19 at the Sandpoint Technology Center. Thanks to the outpouring of community support, 7B Women has been able to bring incredible speakers to this year’s event, which promises to be inspirational, and perhaps even life changing, as 150 of Sandpoint’s most dynamic women and leaders come together for a day to be inspired, supported and enveloped in community.
