COEUR d’ALENE — Emily Deitz of Coeur d’Alene and Natasha Astrauskas of Post Falls each won a pair of events at the North Idaho district swim championships Saturday at the Kroc Center.

Deitz, a senior, won the 200-yard freestyle and the 100 backstroke. Astrauskas, a freshman, captured the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly.

In the boys meet, Lake City junior Aren Kariotis won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke.

State is this weekend in Boise, with prelims on Friday and finals on Saturday.
