T-Wolves come up short at Albi

SPOKANE — Marco Rojo kicked a 23-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 7-3 at halftime, but the Lake City Timberwolves were outscored 21-0 in the second half of a 28-3 loss to the Lewis and Clark Tigers at Joe Albi Stadium on Friday.

Grant Clark ran for 93 yards for Lake City (0-2), which opened the season with a 34-10 loss against Madison last Friday in Rexburg. It was Lewis and Clark’s season opener.

Lake City hosts Central Valley next Friday in the first of three straight home dates for the Timberwolves.
