Thanks to the Lincoln County Unite for Youth Coalition, the first “Guns and Hoses” softball game was held Thursday night at Lee Gehring Field in Libby, pitting the Libby Volunteer Fire Department against the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. The Guns outshot the Hoses, 22 to 19.

All proceeds will be used for youth leadership training and development and for fun, safe and healthy activities for kids in grades 7-12, according to the coalition’s Facebook page.
