Whitefish harriers compete in Cut Bank

Whitefish runners kept pace with athletes from across the state at the Cut Bank Time Trials on Friday.
Ella Greenberg finished seventh overall to lead the Whitefish girls (21:25). Annie Hill of Glacier (18:00) and Bryn Morley (18:21) and Anya Young of Bigfork (20:00) rounded out the top three sports.
Whitefish’s Katie Arterburn finished 17th (22:10) and Jessica Henson 22nd (22:52).
For the Whitefish boys, Miles Vrentas (18:36) was the highest placing Bulldog at 23rd. Bridger Gaertner (19:08.12) and Chris Sheehan (19:08.67) came in at 30 and 31st.
On the boys side, Tegan Olson (16:52) of Great Falls High finished first, followed by Gordon Gentry (16:53) of CMR and Aren Alexander-Battee (16.54) of Glacier.
Whitefish travels down the road to Rebecca Farm on Friday to face off against Flathead.
The event begins at 2:30 p.m.
