The Columbia Falls boys golf team took third at the Ronan Invitational last week.

Top golfer was Logan Lybbert, who took ninth, shooting an 82.

Tyler Langton shot a 93, Trey Perkins 94, Reusch Powell 94, and D.J. Laycock 127.

Elizabeth Opalka shot a 130 for the girls.

Uphill skiers need to be aware of avalanches on Big Mtn.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
