Noxon battled back an took a 19-18 lead later in the game, but Plains used 7-1 run to pick up the win as Thompson scored the final point with an ace.
Plains led by as many as six in the second game, but the Devils once again fought back. Noxon grabbed a 25-24 advantage on an ace by Kali Murray late in the game, but a kill by Laws, and back-to-back aces from Altmiller earned Plains a 27-25 victory.
Three kills from Thompson, a block by Huenink and an ace from Laws helped Plains build a quick 9-1 lead in the third game of the match and Noxon was unable to come any closer than four points as the Trotters cruised to a 25-19 victory to win the match.
