Smoke causes shifts in Libby sports scheduling

Both the girls and boys soccer matchups scheduled for Tuesday between Libby and Whitefish were canceled due to air quality concerns in the Flathead Valley, while Saturday’s home games against Hamilton were canceled due to air quality issues in Libby.

A Wednesday golf invitational in Polson was canceled, while an invitational in Libby on Thursday was postponed until Sept. 19.

Friday night’s football game against Frenchtown was moved to Frenchtown.
