POLSON — Hamilton’s recipe for success wasn’t complicated.

The Broncs simply out-hit and outplayed Polson, charging to a 25-13, 25-16, 25-17 straight-set victory on Tuesday night in a Class A volleyball matchup.

“They just beat us today,” Polson head coach Patti Luetzen said. “They came out and hit at us.

“We have to be able to do our job at the net.”

Polson failed to record a block in the match, and Hamilton’s offense thrived as a result.

Cariann Kunkel tallied eight of Hamilton’s 33 kills, which dwarfed Polson’s 11. The Broncs also had eight aces to the Pirates’ three.

“We’re just going to get back in the gym and develop our hitting,” Luetzen said. “Hamilton had some nice hitters.

“It just wasn’t in the cards.”

Polson will look to get back on track at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday when it travels to Browning for a conference match.
