Seniors Hospitality Center celebrates Pet Day

BONNERS FERRY — Nancy Martinez has boundless enthusiasm that is contagious to those who participate in her themed luncheons at the Seniors Hospitality Center of Boundary County.

On Sept. 13, participants brought in their favorite stuffed animals or photos of their pets, for pet day. They paraded them down the aisle, sharing stories of how their stuffed animal came into their lives.

The light-hearted fun pervaded the Senior Center, with prized being given out to all who participated, as well as the winner, Sonia Yelton, with her magnificent stuffed wolf.
