Organizers of the annual Adams County Fair in Othello Sept. 13-16 say this year’s event lived up to expectations.

“The weather was great and we had 12,795 happy fair goers,” Tammy Everett, fair treasurer said. “In past fairs the temperatures were hot and it kept people away, but this year the weather cooled down and the smoke from the fires lifted and we had a great attendance. We are a nonprofit, so we’d like to give thanks to all of our supporters who contributed to making this such a great event.”
