Libby sets planning services fees
John Blodgett Western News | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 7 years, 7 months AGO
The Libby City Council at its Monday, Sept. 18 meeting adopted Resolution 1903, which sets a fee schedule for city planning purposes.
The city previously did not have an official fee schedule, having instead relied on Lincoln County to provide planning service and collect fees.
The fee schedule is as follows:
Subdivision review: First minor subdivision, $500; subsequent minor subdivision, $650; major subdivisions, $800 plus $50 per lot.
Mobile home/RV/condo development: $100 per space/unit.
Weed assessments: Minor subdivision, $200; major subdivision, $300 plus $10 per lot.
Miscellaneous fees: Preliminary plat extension or condition amendment, $100; environmental health review, $100; final plat review, $250; exemption review (family conveyance only), $150; variance, $100.
The resolution acknowledges the city “may rely on an outside consultant for subdivision review” and that any consultant fees “associated with subdivision review will be charged to the applicant at the actual cost” to the city.
