Lady Pirates soccer hopes for second half surge

The Polson Lady Pirates soccer team maybe young but they are starting to get acclimated to the varsity level.
In the last three games Polson played one of the top-ranked teams in the conference Whitefish close, falling to them 4-3.
The Lady Pirates played another close game against Columbia Falls where they scored five of the last six goals to only lose 6-5.
Polson proceeded to defeat Big Fork 5-0. In the victory they had several people contributing and scoring goals.
Marina Mayorga scored two goals. Ashlee Howell scored another goal in the victory and striker Ali Hupka scored another two goals in the victory against Bigfork.
The Lady Pirates will have several critical conference games as they prepare to play Columbia Falls Saturday at 12 p.m. at Polson High School. They will follow this up with road game against Libby on Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. at Libby High School.
The Lady Pirtates conference record is 2-4-1 headed into this week.
