BONNERS FERRY — The volleyball girls have fought a great battle over the season. In the game against Priest River on September 19, the hard working girls won yet again with 25-12, 25-16, and 25-18.

“We are doing very well and very fun to watch. The girls are playing very good together and adjust to what is asked of them,” said coach Kendra Maas.

With only three home games left for the team to play, Maas would like to encourage supporters to attend the remaining games and show community support to the young women that have dedicated their time and effort to being the best that they can be on the court.

October 3 the girls will be participating in a game for breast cancer awareness, ‘Volley for the Cure,’ where all proceeds will be sent to the Bonners Ferry Women’s Cancer Group. Shortly following the event, on October 10, will be Senior night where the team will honor eight of the participating seniors for their dedication to the program.

Check out www.bfbadgers.com for more game information and come on down and help support the Badgers Volleyball before the season comes to a close.
