The annual Cabinet Peaks Medical Center Health Fair takes place 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 21, at the Libby Memorial Events Center.
The health and wellness event provides reduced cost and free lab screenings and presents information from regional organizations and various Medical Center departments.
Exhibits and activities will cover, among other items, healthy food, alternative therapies, outdoor recreational activities and fitness activities — including a rock climbing wall and bike helmet fittings — according to a news release.
In addition, free and discounted screening vouchers for lab tests will be available, including those for cholesterol (LIPID), glucose, glycohemoglobin (A1C), anemia and thyroid (TSH). The first 100 people at the fair who sign up for a draw time will be given free lipid and glucose tests.
All test draws will be done at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in the weeks following the fair, with test result sent directly to each patient.
