Medical center lab scores high on accreditation

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center Laboratory announced it has again been accredited by the national healthcare accreditation organization COLA.

According to a news release, the Laboratory scored 100 percent in 10 of 15 survey areas — Facility, Proficiency Testing, Lab Information Systems, Preanalytic, Procedure Manual, Maintenance, Verification of Performance, Calibration, Postanalytic, Quality Assurance and Transfusion Services — and in the high 90s in the other five areas.
