PONDERAY — Sylvia Humes, chair of the Bonner County Democratic Party, is inviting the public to help select 13 delegates during the county caucus on Wednesday.

The caucus commences at 6:30 p.m. at Hotel Ruby on U.S. Highway 95 North.

Selected delegates will represent Bonner County at the Idaho Democratic Party State Convention June 29-30 in Caldwell. The caucus will be part of the regularly scheduled Bonner County Democrat Central Committee meeting which starts at 5:30 p.m.

Anyone who wants to participate as a Democrat and who will be a registered voter of the county on Nov. 6 may participate in the caucus. The meeting is open to the media and the public.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Idaho Democrats to get involved with our party and have a real say in selecting our party platform for the 2018 election cycle,” Humes said.
