Local teams hit the Superior Hoop Shoot target

Elementary students from all over the are descended on Superior last weekend to participate in the Superior Hoop Shoot. There were 31 teams made up of boys and girls from grades five through eight who met up on the courts in the high school and elementary school gyms to shoot-it- out. Teams were grades 3/4; 5/6; and 7/8.

Superior/Alberton Clark Fork Mountain Cat teams hit the mark during the tournament which was held on April 7 and 8, where first place slots were filled by the 6th grade girls and the 5/6 grade boys teams. Rounding out second place were the 7/8 grade girls team, the 5th grade girls, and the 3/4 grade boys according to Jeff Schultz who helped to organize the event.
