Jamey Parks, right, of Coeur dAlene continued her impressive motocross career recently, finishing fourth place out of 69 riders in the womens class of the Desert 100 Race in Odessa, Wash., on Sunday. Parks, a massage therapist, completed the 50-mile loop in 2 hours, 28 minutes. The 50-mile loop included rocks, mud and desert terrain, and she said a downpour the day before made the course even more muddy and slick in spots.
