MOSES LAKE — Hoping to continue the trend of reaching out to the community and fostering relationships with citizens, the Moses Lake Police Department will be holding its third community outreach program starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The outreach will be held at Moses Lake Alliance Church, 1100 N. Grape Dr. The free event will include information on the MLPD, what it does, how it is structured and the programs citizens can get involved in.

The MLPD decided to team up with the Moses Lake Ministerial Association to do small, neighborhood group meetings throughout the city in conjunction with local churches. The idea is to reach every neighborhood in the city on an individual level. Previous meetings were held at El Sendero Life Center and the Moses Lake Worship Center.

Chief Kevin Fuhr, officers and administrative staff will be on hand to answer questions.

For more information contact the MLPD at 509-764-3887.
